Godmothers (Summerland, California)

Godmothers in Summerland, California, was my neighbor this winter. I loved visiting this bookstore whenever I wanted to linger in peace.

A calm, inviting space. Community events with meaning and purpose. Plus a few surprises.

Possibly equally important, out in the courtyard, Dart Coffee made the best hot chocolate with almond milk that I’ve ever tasted (vegan + gf).

I’m so grateful that these three floors, which once sat empty, now exist for community goodness.
