It’s easy for me to care about Canada like this. I have more than fifty years of personal history with Canada. I love Canada. I love Canadians. And not just because I’ve been based near Vancouver, BC, for months out of the year. I spent childhood summers and adulthood deep in Canada’s interior. Childhood friends have always lived in Canada.
