Leakproof Underwear for Travel + Every Day (Lilova’s Non-Toxic, Organic Undies for Women)
There is a vital reason I think all women should have access to leakproof underwear for travel and for every day—and not just because I’ve loved my Lilova non-toxic, organic undies for years now.
We need properly padded undies to contain the fluids the female body naturally processes each day—sweat, urine, cervical mucus, blood, as well as the fluids created during intimacy.
These are the fluids our body processes (leaks) throughout each day.
Yet so many of us (including those of us who were raised in medical environments) are never taught that the female body will process (leak) all of these fluids.
Hence, this is my passionate PSA…
It is 100% normal for the human body to process (leak) multiple fluids each day. We deserve cute, comfy, sustainable underwear that can provide adequate protection for all of it.
Before I share my three favorite Lilova undies below, there’s one more reason this topic is so important to me. I’ve wanted to share it for years, but I’ve also not wanted to freak anyone out.
I think you’ll catch on where I’m going with this.
Years ago, a primetime television special decided to analyze the germs found on the public seating that we all share (chairs, sofas, benches, etc.). So they took samples.
Armrests were sampled. Hard seating surfaces were sampled. Cloth seating surfaces were sampled. Seats in movie theaters were sampled. The list goes on.
The results were shocking.
The most prominent substances they found on public seating (the place we all rest our tushies) were the bodily fluids I mention above. These fluids were all over public seats.
Those fluids are unknowingly leaking through regular clothing. Nobody teaches anybody this.
And, until recent years, females have never had access to properly padded underwear—they didn’t exist. Yet we all deserve to be protected.
