Shell Beach (La Jolla, California)

After making our way down the West Coast (for an appointment), we couldn’t help but visit La Jolla (la hoy ah), California, again. While walking along the water, I paused quietly at Shell Beach to soak in these beautiful moments, which seemed practically hidden before one’s eyes. A snippet of sand nestled between (and within close sight of) La Jolla Cove and the Children’s Pool (aka Casa Beach), Shell Beach was a jewel. Even on a cloudy day, soft, vibrant colors emerged. While I missed low tide, when tidepools and sea treasures are said to appear, I wouldn’t trade what I did experience at Shell Beach for the world. Such. Peaceful. Beauty.
