Tulip Fields (in the Skagit Valley)

During an unexpected trip south, while stressed, I quietly strolled through the Skagit Valley tulip fields. I intentionally bypassed all the official tulip festival activities and instead chose to view the free tulip fields—an old childhood habit. Hardly a soul was around. It was good medicine.
