Stopping To Smell the Flowers
My partner usually sees them.
Then he stops to point them out.
Convinced I’ve not yet had enough treats in my day,
he encourages me to take my time … to enjoy them.
To smell them.
To photograph them.
To admire them.
At whatever stage they’re in.
