Jug Handle (California State Natural Reserve)

We pass by Jug Handle (California State Natural Reserve) whenever we travel from Mendocino to Fort Bragg (and back). Jug Handle is located halfway between. And while I quietly protest a stop when there is wind and moisture in the air, how could I not stretch my legs here when the sun is shining?! I am grateful for such simple walks with breathtaking beauty. I love the winding path, white flower bells, large pine needles blanketing the ground, giant trees that twist and turn into one another, the peaceful meadow, and rolling water. I love how it all lives … together.
