Fog Eater Vegetarian Restaurant (in Mendocino, California)

I am still blown away by the Fog Eater Cafe. Hidden away in the tiny seaside village of Mendocino, California, this organic vegetarian restaurant was artistic perfection. From kitchen to front of house. And nearly the entire menu could be made vegan (with GF options). We ate at every Happy Hour possible. A little dish of this. A little dish of that. Soon, we’d eaten entire meals. Hush Puppies drizzled with a sauce so delicious I had to photograph my plate drippings. My first Fried Green Tomatoes. Savory (gf vegan!) Mashed Potatoes + Gravy. Creamy (gf vegan!) Mac n’ Cheese. The most exquisite of all: Their GF cornbread (not normally on the menu, but oh my, it should always be) made their Biscuit Sliders taste absolutely unbelievable.
