Somehow, between the boat we left behind, a twelve hour drive, and arriving at our short-term Airbnb, I lost my favorite travel knife.
It's hard for me to lose something I love, so I was surprised that, while roaming around this mountain ski town, I was lucky enough to find a better travel knife than the one I had before.
It's technically a paring knife, but the blade is so much larger than most paring knives I've had, that I'm using it as more of a small chef's knife (for those of us who are not so particular).
This means I no longer need to carry two travel knives with me, just one. This could not have come at a better time, as I had already become tired of trying to juggle two travel knives on one tiny countertop.
Not only is this great for prepping on the go, but because not all Airbnb's have the best knives. So this allows me to always have at least one good knife with me while traveling.
A nifty bonus: In addition to this knife easily attaching to the outside of the beautiful Box Appetit, this knife (and my spork, can opener, etc.) also fit inside the Box Appetit, diagonally, making a mini kitchen so much easier to pack!
